Dr. Herb Sennett in his library where he writes, listens to old records, and enjoys being retired.

The best thing that can be said about Herb Sennett is that he has a special talent for inspiring the best in people. He gained the title "The Encouragement Doctor" while teaching the basic speech class in college. His way of teaching and critiquing students was so positive and encouraging that the students rated him among the best teachers on campus.
He is also one of the happiest people you will ever meet. And that happiness is genuine because he's that way all the time. He had a successful career teaching in college retiring in 2016 after nearly forty years. He was also a part-time soldier serving in the army reserves for 28 years first as an infantry officer then as a chaplain endorsed by the Southern Baptist Convention. Herb has been married to the former Beverly Rodgers of Arkansas for more than fifty years. They have two children and one grandson. They love traveling the Western USA, especially Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado. Herb drives an SUV (duh!), but his wife has a Jeep--a real one! |
