H. Herbert Sennett, Ph.D., D.Min., Author and Speaker

     The best thing that can be said about Herb Sennett is that he has a special talent for inspiring the best in people. He earned the title "The Encouragement Doctor" while teaching a basic speech class at college. His teaching and critique were so positive and encouraging that students rated him among the best teachers on campus.
​     He is also one of the happiest people you will ever meet. And that happiness is genuine because he's that way all the time. He had a successful career teaching at the college level, retiring in 2016 after nearly 40 years. He was also a part-time soldier serving in the army reserves for 28 years, first as an infantry officer, then as a chaplain endorsed by the Southern Baptist Convention.
     Herb has been married to the former Beverly Rodgers of Arkansas for nearly sixty years. They have two children and one grandson. They love traveling in the Western USA, especially Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado.
     Herb drives an SUV (duh!), but his wife has a Jeep--a real one!
